(sad drumroll please)...... TWELVE DAYS!!! im having a little trouble wrapping my head around that extremely TINY figure!! well... my cafe mocha is ready...CHOW!! "Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy birthday Dear Hannah, Happy Birthday to ME!!!!!!" ok so wednesday was my 14th birthday and i was ecstatic!!!!! I GOT A CELL PHONE!!!!! it is a lime green mp3 rumor that is slidey and has a full keyboard so i can text!!!! my parents even got me unlimited texting!!!! i am SOOOOO pumped!!! i am a 9th grader now- is that not scary???? i am loving it sooooo much!! i apologize to all my dedicated blog readers that i have neglected my duty to blog and have been swept away in the social world of HIGHSCHOOL!!! its soooo awesome!!!

today me and my friend went to see the new movie that's out called "space chimps!!" we had TOO much fun b/c we haven't seen each other since school let out in may!!! it's too scary....... i register on THURSDAY for HIGHSCHOOL!!! is that scary or what?? she and i both agreed that the reality that we are freshmen hasn't hit........ and hopefully it may never!!!!

oooooh..... guess what? my birthday is in exactly 23 days, 5 hours and 53 minutes, as of right.........NOW!!! just because it's summer does not mean i can't do math!!!!! what's really funny is that as a freshman i JUST started putting on makeup this week......... weird, huh??? well i've got to go!! chow!!!!!!

family reunion

so this saturday, i went to a family reunion for my dad's side of the family!!! considering my great-grandfather had 10 kids, and each kid had at least 3 kids, who have kids, there were A LOT of people there!!! i think there were at least 35-40 people there, and that was only a fifth of everyone that was invited!!! i didn't know anyone barely except my aunts and uncles, and my grandparents!!! it was WILD how many people can be somehow related!!! and i thought my mom's family of 20+ was a bunch!! well....... i'm off on vacation before school starts!!!!

oh........ my.......... GOODNESS!!!!! i totally just had a huge freak-out moment!!!! school starts in like 2 1/2 weeks, and i'm gonna be a FRESHMAN!!!! is that not a SCARY thought or what???? i'm totally not ready for school to start yet!!! it seems like the summer has just started, and now their forcing us into ugly and uncomfortable uniforms a mere few months after they let us out!!!! this is SOOOOOO unjust and totally not fair!!!!! normally in years past, my mom and i get our school supplies as soon as the list comes out, but this year, the only thing i have is a few binders, some folders, and no backpack!!! it's totally weird this year!! well, i suppose youhave to go back SOMETIME?????? WRONG!!!!! you could take a year break, then go to school for a year!!! would that not ROCK!!! well, i'll get off my school soapbox now!!! chow!!!

well........ i'm at my grandparents house in I.L....... which took FOREVER to get to!!!! i am so happy that it is the fourth of july!!!! i got to see some cousins that i haven't seen in a LONG time and i also got to see an aunt that lives in F.L.!!!!! i was soooooooo excited!!! it has been a long day, we got up at 5:00 in the a.m. to get here on time!!!! so i am ZONKED!!! i still have to go to the park to watch fireworks and then dinner and then bed..... (not necessarily in that order!!) i just might fall asleep before all of this is over!!! well i hope all have a happy and safe fourth!!! chow!!!!

my family has two pets a dachshund and a adorable black cat!!! his name is Gizmoe and he is a mix between a longhair and a short hair!!! he is soooooo soft and is one of the sweetest cats in the WHOLE world!!!! i love him to DEATH!!! here's some pics i took of him!! he has the SWEETEST temperment and is about the cutest thing in the house!!!

ok..... so i have alot to say in this post and not alot of time to say it in!! well first of all i have been a terrible daughter and i haven't kept up my list of awesome things about my parents!!! i will do my best to re-start this list!! second....... WHEW!!!!!! i am SOOOO tired even after just two days of VBS!!! those kids suck the life out of you!!! third.... for all of you "older....(as in 30 and up)blog readers i've decided to un-confuse you when you try to decipher your kid's text messages!!! here it is..... all laid out for you!!!

VBS!!!!

well this week i'm working at VBS for a class of first graders!!! i'm afraid i might not have any hair by the end of the week 'cuz i pulled it all out!!!! not really!!! i always enjoy myself when i work VBS!!! this years theme is "Outrigger Island" so i'm wondering what the teachers have decorated their rooms like this time!!! it should be interseting!!!! YaWn....... i've got an early morning tomorrow and it's late!!!! chow!!!

well, this year my family decided to get a membership to our local pool!! it's been a BLAST!! i've gotten to go swimming just about every day this summer and you don't have to fill out a ton of paperwork if you want to bring a guest- all you have to do is pay the lifeguard!! it's just TOO easy and fun!! i'm also involved in the swim team and they have their 2nd meet tomorrow, so wish us luck!! we haven't beat this team in FOREVER, so we hope to show ourselves strong this time!! well, i've got to go get my swimsuit on, 'cuz i'm goin' SWIMMING!!!

ok...... so i'm here so i figured that i might as well do a little "fathers day tribute" to dad!!!
DAD......
you are the very best dad in the whole entire world, and i'm not just saying that!! i don't know what i would do or this family would do without you!! you are the glue that keeps us together and that helps us solve all of our problems. you put me and mom before anything else at work or at home and you are NEVER too busy to just see whats on my mind!! you don't know how much that that means to me in a time where it's hard to put your faith in anyone because almost everyone will fail you. i know that you will never let me down and for that, i love you dad!!

WOW!!!! i have ALOT to tell!!! camp was awesome!!! the very 1st nite..... i got THREE WHOLE HOURS of sleep!!!! is that not amazing??? hehehehe........not!!!!! i was super tired when i got back.... but i LOVED it!!!! we went to Dollywood Splash Country, we had G-Force games come, plus we got to go white water rafting!!! it was SOOOOO much fun!!! when i got home...... i think i slept in till 10:30 and if you know me, you know that's LATE!!! but i got sick a few days later and i've still got a touch of a sore throat!!!! BLECH!!! oh well...... i've gotta run!!!

that's right!!!! we are back at the old "homestead"!!!! it felt SOOOOO good to be back on familiar turf and to see my adorable puppy!!!!! he was in need of some serious lovin'!!!! i need to get wash done........ i'm goin' to camp on monday afternoon and it's too quickly approaching!!! plus i have a wedding this evening to attend...... and i'm POOPED from my first swim practice that was a few hours ago!! well...... i better get to work........ or relaxing b/c i'm so tired??? i can't decide!!!!! HELP!!! well when all else fails...... take a nap!! a girl ALWAYS needs her beauty sleep!!!

wow!!! i'm SUPER sleepy right now......zzzzzz hahahahaha, not that sleepy!!!!! it has been another long and VERY full day at my grandparents house!! i went to Hardee's with my cousin...... then took a bike ride........ watched a movie......... then ate dinner and cleaned up!!! (ok..... so i didn't run a marathon...... but i'm REALLY tired!!) plus, it's an hour later at my grandparents house than it is at my house right now........ so i'm up later than usual!!! therefore this is going to be a very short list becasue if my brain were a computer, right now it would be saying: "cannot compute..... cannot compute...... brain overload!!!" TTYL!!!
11.) mom- you think about others WAY before you would think about yourself........ ALL the time!!

hey ya'll....... well, the end of one LONG day nears.... but it has been SOOOOOO much fun!!! i got to help my aunt make brownies, homemade ice cream, baked beans, hamburgers, and lots more!!! it was so much fun to see ALL my relatives that came to the Memorial Day cookout!! me and my cuz took a walk and watched the Olsen twins movie "(something)......... in rome" ( i don't know what the real title is......oops :) hehehehe.... well my pizza is in the oven and i'm hungry, so i hope it doesn't burn!!!! Chow*!! (i know it's cheesy..... but it's stuck in my head from the Olsen twins movie!!) well...... here's my list for today:
7.) mom- you try to work with me...... even when i'm being a little bit teenager........ ok...... ALOT teenager!
8.) mom- you try to make me feel as if everything that i do is the most important thing to you!!! (check out her latest post!!) you are like the BEST!!!
9.) dad- when you call to check on me, you don't hang up even though mom isn't there...... it shows me you really want to talk to ME!! ILY!!
10.) dad- you even take care of my kitty while i'm gone...... you are like SOOOO valuable!!

well....... i'm FINALLY at my grandparents house!!! that drive seemed to last forever!! (ok.... so not FOREVER...... but do you get my point??) hahahaha...... i'm glad to finally be here!! it feels as if i haven't been there in a long time..... although it was only a month or two!! I am SOOOOO glad to have such an awesome family surronding me..... you see, almost all of my mom's family lives in the same town, so when we see my grandparents, we get to see EVERYONE!! it's WONDERFUL!!! i haven't realized how much my super close family means to me, so from now on, on each blog, i'm gonna put a few things that i'm thankful for about my mom and dad!! i hope to get to 100.... or even 1000..... but we'll start out with "just a few"!!!
1.) mom- you plant flowers that brighten up the whole day
2.) mom- you helped me pick out a new bedspread, and helped me re-arrange my room all in one long day!!!
3.) mom- you are always SOOOO patient with your annoying teenage daughter..... and you try to understand who i'm gonna become and encourage me in that!!
4.) dad- you are the BEST...... you got us a dog, and you never are too busy for a hug or a kiss......no matter how hectic the time is, you always make time for me!!!
5.) dad- you go to work early and come home late sometimes.... but you always try to find time to play frisbee, or phase 10 after dinner!
6.) dad- i don't know how to thank you for doing all you have to further my love of God and all that has to do with Him...... i love you SOOOO much!!

ok..... well as i see it, so many of us go on about our life without spending ample time to stop and to smell the roses..... i mean what if God just thought to himself during the creation of the world that He didn't see any need for color, so everything was just one color! would that not STINK??? yet so many times we don't look at the new flowers that sprouted in our pots, and throw away the "weeds" that our kids bring us before we can really realize how special and unique that each flower is!! i'm gonna try to stop on my walks and try to smell the roses that were just planted...... and try to remember that God cares for them so much, so i wonder how much He loves us??

i can't believe it!! school is OUT for the summer!!! can anyone believe it??? it seems (to me) that i just walked through the doors of that school for 6th GRADE!! it amazes me how quick those three years have gone!! i am SOOOOO not ready for highschool- (yeah, i said it HIGHSCHOOL!!) it seemed like i should still be in, like, 7th grade!! i'm amazed that it's been three years since i started sixth grade, i started private school, and well, life just changed!! now i'm supposed to let it change again!! how scary is that??? oh yeah..... DAVID ARCHULETTA ROCKS MY SOX OFF!!! (i hope he wins AI!!)

so...... there is so much to tell! i have been SOOOOO busy lately!! I participated in the track championship for my school in discus and I won 1st place with a throw of 59'4.5"!!! i was thrilled!!! I also had a friend sleepover and we had a BLAST!! it was too fun!! today was the last full day of middle school for me, but i still have monday-wednesday, but they are half days with exams!! (YUCK) i cannot wait to be out of school!! it will be soooooo much fun!! TTYL!!

OOOPSEEEES!!!! my dad accidentally deleted my blog...but i'm back! he didn't mean to!!! i am enjoying having this blog right now!!! i will try to post as often as possible, even with a hectic track and field schedule!! our team has been doing REALLy good this year; we used to have four people for two years in a row, but this year we have a ton of people and our doing really well!! me and a friend have gotten 1st and 2nd in every single meet, which brings alot of points for our team!!
